Banana, berry, and honey toast (vegetarian)

Take your average toast up a level with these banana, berry, and honey toasts. They are protein-packed and ready in 5 minutes! The combo of bananas and honey is heavenly, and the addition of blueberries gives you your antioxidant boost. Enjoy!

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 slices of whole wheat bread

  • Ghee

  • 1 banana, sliced

  • Handful of blueberries (or your favorite berry)

  • Cinnamon

  • 1 tablespoon of honey (or agave if vegan). I used Seka Hills Wildflower Honey

  • Edible flowers (optional) - available on Amazon and Whole Foods

RECIPE

  1. Toast your bread then spread some ghee* evenly across bread. *Ghee is a fantastic butter alternative for those with lactose or casein sensitivities.

  2. Top bread with sliced banana and blueberries.

  3. Sprinkle some cinnamon and drizzle honey on top of toast.

  4. Finish with edible flowers.
